We engineered a HIS-Integrated Triage Node that functions as the hospital's digital neural network. It connects directly to the Hospital Information System (HIS) to manage the entire visit lifecycle. Pre-arrival, it autonomously confirms appointments and triages symptoms to optimize doctor schedules. Crucially, it closes the "Consult-to-Lab" Loop: the moment a doctor prescribes a test in the HIS, the system instantly triggers a patient notification with payment options and directions to the specific sample collection bay, ensuring the diagnostic revenue is captured immediately before the patient leaves the floor.
The deployment fundamentally changed the campus dynamics. Administration gained a "Live Heatmap" Dashboard, visualizing patient density across OPD and Pathology wings in real-time. The automated slot-refilling logic reduced "Doctor Idle Time" by 18%. More significantly, the Smart Diagnostic Integration increased the "Prescription-to-Test" conversion rate by 22%, ensuring that diagnostic revenue remained within the hospital ecosystem rather than leaking to external competitors.
